We need some awesome volunteers to post up at the participating Hy-Vee locations to assist with bike donations. Shift is 8:45 to 1:00 on Saturday, October 14th. Don’t worry — it’s a Husker bye week!
Apply To Receive Bikes for Your Non-Profit Organization
If you are a non-profit, faith-based organization, school, or community organization you can apply to receive some of the bikes we repurpose and redistribute every year. Bikes are given out to approved youth-serving organizations, for those organizations to then distribute out to the youth they serve.
Donate A Bike at the 2023 Collection Day
Donate gently used or new child or adult bikes Saturday, October 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at select Hy-Vee Locations around the Metro.

It’s our goal to help every child feel the joys and freedom of owning a bike. Please consider volunteering with us! Our volunteer season is every October and November. No special skills required or experience necessary, and our volunteer opportunities are perfect for families, scouting troops, youth groups, and school clubs and organizations.
